more the waters for yourself.My issue is that the story moved too fast sometimes and some "scenes" were too "spoon-feedingy". Here's a sample of some poetic lines "Her waters turn magically from amethyst to hot azure to hazy purple." The words were beautifully written, you almost want to see. There are times when I had to pause and decide if it has fantasy elements or if some words were just too lyrical. Until now, I still haven't decided whether the name Medusalock is cheesy or clever. But that was, years ago and I kind of don't remember it that well anymore but I still am familiar with the story.At first, I was really confused with the book.
