But based on my enjoyment of this, and the author’s more recent works, it certainly won’t be the last! Bone White is the first of Malfi’s earlier books I have managed to get a copy of. So of course I was going to delve into this author’s back catalogue and visit a few of their earlier books. And if you’re a lover of short stories you won’t go wrong with Ghostwritten which is also excellent. Both Come With Me and Black Mouth are exceptional, unforgettable horror reads which I strongly recommend you pick up if you’re a fan of the genre.
